Helping Hands for Seniors may be able to help Glenwood Springs area senior citizens (or disabled) who need assistance with basic yard and household maintenance.This new service program sponsored by High Country RSVP can help with basic yard work, basic maintenance and basic home repair.Please call 384-8746. Someone will call you back to match you up with skilled volunteers and other available community resources to get your job done.Also call if you want to volunteer to help in this program.

The eighth annual Scandinavian Smorgasbord will be held Saturday, March 14, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1630 Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs. Seating for dinner will be in two shifts. The first seating will be from 4-5 p.m. and the second will be at 6:30 p.m.Lutefisk, lefse, Swedish meatballs and plenty of desserts will be on the menu.Call Rolf at 947-9009 for more info, to RSVP or if you would like to help.
