Aarin Meager-Benson, ND, from Two Rivers Natural Health, will be speaking from 6-7 p.m. Monday, April 13, at the Glenwood Springs Community Center on hormone imbalance and the naturopathic approach to managing and balancing hormones. Colorado Mountain Colleges Anthropology students will present a series of posters for public viewing centered on current anthropological studies from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at the colleges Reker Room of the Student Center at Spring Valley Campus. The students will be available to answer questions about their research.

Smart Decisions for Tough Markets is a seminar geared to people who have a variety of investing experience. Four of the most popular short-term issues of concern today including current economic environment, financial crisis, recession and politics will be discussed. It is planned for 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at 2700 Gilstrap Court, Suite 170, Glenwood Springs.The free event will be hosted by Edward Jones Financial Advisor Jay McGlade. Habitat for Humanity of the Roaring Fork Valley will be hosting the second annual Earth Day and Arbor Day celebration on Saturday, April 25, with Bighorn Toyota, Sunsense Solar Electric, Bedding Down and Green Spot on site to discuss green alternatives. The Forest Service and local nurseries will also donate plants, trees and seeds in conjunction with Arbor Day. The ReStore is located in the Cattle Creek Center, north of Carbondale. Turn off Highway 82 at Cattle Creek, and take an immediate right onto the frontage road. Follow the signs to the warehouses behind Little Bear Antiques.
