David Berceli, Ph.D, world-renowned authority in trauma and trauma release will be conducting a one-day workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at a location to be announced. The Carbondale Council on Arts & Humanities Gallery is sponsoring a Community Appreciation Day from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at the gallery located at 645 Main St. in Carbondale. The event is hosted by artists Lynette Okane and Diane Kenney, who will give a gallery talk at 6 p.m.. Artwork priced to benefit the pocketbook and the artists favorite local exhibit space, CCAH gallery. Refreshments will be served.For more information, call 963-1680. The exhibit ends April 27.
The Bureau of Land Management is looking for volunteers for the 10th annual Prince Creek Clean-up on May 2 from 8:30-11:30 a.m.Volunteers will meet and sign in at 8:30 a.m. at McIntyres Red Barn at 1625 County Road 111 (Prince Creek Road). Volunteers should come dressed in long pants, sturdy work shoes and leather gloves. Trash bags and soft drinks will be provided. For further information call 963-2888.
