Come to the Whimsical Women of the Wests Spring Show, with the opening reception from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 8; and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast, five miles up Four Mile Road on the road to Sunlight.The show will include artwork, jewelry, folk art, container gardens, yard art, food goodies, collectibles and more.A percentage of proceeds will be donated to the new Glenwood Springs and Carbondale Community Gardens.For more Information, please call 945-4004.

Treadz, located in downtown Glenwood Springs has partnered with Chaco for a buy one get one tree promotion. For every pair of Chaco footwear purchased during Arbor Day weekend, the Arbor Day Foundation will plant one tree in one of our national forests. The promotion will run from today and Sunday. Treadz hours of operation are Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday 12 -5 p.m.



The Brain Injury Association of Colorado presents a free self-advocacy workshop for people with brain injuries and their families from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 24, at U.S. Bank Building in Glenwood Springs.Self-advocacy means standing up for your/or your loved ones needs and goals.Please RSVP by April 22 to Carrie at 945-8349 or Lenny@biacolorado.org.
