New Hopeful Heart and the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts would like to invite persons, and their caregivers, of the Glenwood Springs and Carbondale area, who are in recovery from drug addiction, brain disorders and/or mental health issues to participate in a mural project titled This Little Light of Mine, Im Going to Make It Shine. First organizational meeting will be Wednesday May 20, at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts Artist in Residence Art Studio, at 7 p.m. Well-known local artist Renick Stevenson will be directing project. The New Castle Community Garden still has garden plots available for this year to grow your own vegetables. Call Debby at 230-0479 for information on the community garden.
