The Bureau of Land Management Glenwood Springs Field Office is hosting an open house from 5-8 p.m. July 12 at the Glenwood Springs Community Center, 100 Wulfsohn Road in Glenwood Springs. The purpose of this open house is to share information and receive comments on their wild and scenic river evaluations being conducted in advance of jointly revising resource management plans. The open house will address the eligibility phase of identifying what segments of rivers and streams within the field offices may meet criteria for wild and scenic rivers. Rainy Day Designs is hosting a showing of local ceramic artist Diane Kenney from July 7-28 at the studio at 16 N. Fourth St. in Carbondale. The show will highlight handcrafted stoneware, and all items are for sale.Daily viewings will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Info: 963-9748.
