Everything you’d ever want to know, available online
Want to know what causes migraines? Curious about songs written by Frazier Dallas? Desperate to finish that paper about Hamlet? AskColorado!
AskColorado, sponsored by the Colorado State Board of Education, is a free online information service available 24 hours a day, seven days a week in English and Spanish for all Colorado students and residents. Using chat format and information resources like online articles and databases, library staff answer questions in real time, help find information and point people in the right direction. To access AskColorado, go to http://www.askcolorado.org.
Launched on Sept. 2, AskColorado has already provided answers to more than 800 questions.
The first year of the service is funded through a federal Library Services and Technology Act grant administered by the Colorado State Library, which contracts with tutor.com to host the service.
