New Castle Main Street artists Carmel Walden, Patty Ringer and Kelley Cox will host a wine and cheese open house from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28; and the art show/sale continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at 296 E. Main St. in New Castle, at the corner of B and Main streets.
The New Castle Senior Housing Pins & Needles will have handcrafted Christmas and other items for sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at the New Castle Senior Recreation Center, 201 Castle Valley Blvd.
Chapter AO of P.E.O.s annual Elegant Auction will be held Friday, Dec. 5, at the Hotel Colorado. Preview of items begins at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at 11:45, followed by the auction.The event features champagne and door prizes.Purchase tickets at Passion for Picnics. Carbondale Clay Centers 11th annual Benefit Cup Auction will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5. The silent auction bidding opens at 6 p.m. Bid on unique mugs, cups, tumblers and teabowls for cupboards and collections. The work of more than 100 artist donors will be featured.
