Letter: A vote from the heart
Seems like we’re either governed by the elite or the populists. Traditionally Republicans have been the elite and Democrats the populists.
The trouble is, as one of the populists aspires to power, they become elitists and visa versa; the elitists become populists. Ergo Donald Trump. Hillary is a poor girl made good, or so she thinks (elitest).
For Donald to appeal to populists is fine; it’s a movement or feeling that survives beyond he or Bernie Sanders. Neither are too substative, that’s why I’m voting for Dr. Jill Stein of the Green Party.
Voting for Jill Stein pulls people from left and right, so Hillary or Donald will still stand the same chance of being elected. I’ll just have the solace that I voted my heart and soul.
