Letter: Chamber role in elections

This letter is in response to Bruce Kime’s letter on March 17. In response to his question, the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association does not sponsor candidate events except the longstanding Issues and Answers Forum. The most recent forum on March 7 was open to all city council candidates, and they all participated.

The chamber website (glenwoodchamber.com) features a community calendar that is available for anyone in the community to utilize. It’s a free resource, and we encourage members of the community to populate the calendar with events — including candidate meet and greet events.
