Letter: Difficult reading

I read the article dated May 23 regarding the emails to the city from board members about financial warnings at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts.

It is really difficult to report on a topic in which people are passionate about, in this case both Christina Brusig, who is loved by many in this community, and the Center for the Arts, which has done so much to enrich our community.

Reporting on this means that you’re going to be stepping on some toes, but if we the readers reserve judgment on the city, the arts board and Brusig, and wait for the investigation to be completed, we would all do well for the community itself.

That means just buckle up and wait for this ride to be over. In the meantime, good job PI for being the watchdogs that the press is supposed to be.
