Letter: Don’t go to North Korea
It was so sad to read the news that Otto Warmbier has returned from North Korea to the U.S. in a coma.
The other question is why did he go there in the first place. The U.S. State Department has issued a travel advisory that says “U.S. citizens should not travel to North Korea.”
But U.S. citizens for some reason keep going to North Korea. There are at least three other U.S. citizens imprisoned in North Korea. If you go there, you are at a huge risk. U.S. citizens, do not go to North Korea. Just amazing that people keep going there.
