Letter: Don’t pave U.S. 6

I am writing this letter to strongly oppose the paving of U.S. 6 during May and June.
I own Glenwood Gardens and have for the last 25 years. It has been in existence since 1939. The paving will drive me out of business since 75 percent to 80 percent of our sales occur in May and June.
Second, U.S. 6 is not part of the detour. It will be a dead end when the bridge is closed. That would be the time to pave the road although it looks to me to be in good shape.
I ask CDOT and our city government to cease this paving operation.
