Letter: Experience matters

The office of County Clerk & Recorder is non-partisan. Its purpose is to provide the public with a variety of unique and necessary services, including: titling and registration of motor vehicles, document recording, conducting countywide elections, facilitating voter registration, assisting with liquor license applications, issuing marriage and civil union licenses, processing applications for birth and death records, and serving as the clerk to the Board of County Commissioners.

Managing these various services requires an equally unique skill set. As such, we encourage you to vote for the candidate that is best qualified to fulfill the duties of the office, and that candidate is incumbent Jean Alberico. With over 36 years of experience in Garfield County’s Clerk and Recorder office, Jean understands every aspect of the job, and her institutional knowledge is a tremendous asset to the county and public she serves.

Moreover, after all these years, Jean continues to strive for excellence. In fact, Jean was one of only five county clerks appointed by the executive director of the Department of Revenue to oversee the new DRIVES motor vehicle system.

Jean’s dedicated to operating an office that is efficient, professional, and accurate. She has our vote.
