Letter: Go see ‘Oliver!’
After careful review of the situation, I’d like to offer a sincere job well done to all the company of the Defiance Community Players production of “Oliver!”
The show was delightfully grim with several excellent performances including Watts Brooks (as Oliver), Hannah Feeney (the Artful Dodger), Willie Mosley (Fagin), Bostyn Elswick (Nancy), Josh Adamson (Bill Sikes), Terry Lott-Richardson (Widow Corney), Louise Girardot (Mr. Bumble), Justin Tinker (Mr. Sowerberry) and Jacquie Meitler (Mrs. Sowerberry).
I’d advise all to add a little Oom-Pah-Pah to your day and enjoy this excellent production — if not, that’s your funeral.
