Letter: He’s for Trump

It has been a long time since I put my 2 cents in the Post Independent. I had planned to end expressing my beliefs publicly, but with two questionable people running for president of the USA, I will once again ask you to consider who is better for the USA. Actually, what may be just as important, and what bothers me the most, is what you think about the Supreme Court.

We know why most liberals and most conservatives feel the way they do. That should have no connection with how the Supreme Court acts. Those judges are supposed to base their decisions on what were the meanings and intent of the Constitution and not slant those decisions based on their own personal beliefs. During the more recent years it seems that the liberals lean toward a liberal decision and the conservatives lean the other way. Maybe we need to program nine robots to make the future decisions.

I feel very strongly about us doing something about the unbalanced Supreme Court, but right now we have to first look at who is best suited to be the head of our country. Trump may do something about the court, but I doubt that Hillary will take on such a challenge. There are too many negative thoughts about Trump, his arrogance, being brash, too repetitious and unpredictable. The unpredictable is of real concern.

However, I have considered who is against him besides the Democrats, the UN, China, Mexico, Soros, Bushes, people in the country illegally, Islam, the food stamp people; their hatred of Trump is OK (except I love Mexico). Trump has proven himself as a successful business man. Maybe somewhat tough, but we would rather be on his side than a loser’s side. Hillary does not have a good record. She may be more predictable than Trump, but I am concerned about her past political record. I will vote for Trump.

Alex Beinstein’s letter in the Post Independent July 14 lacked Trump’s real feelings toward Jewish people. I have heard Trump often state that he would work with Israel more closely than we have under Obama and that they are one of our greatest allies. We have watched both candidates so often that it is getting to be boring. However, Alex, I have only heard Trump talk positively about his relationship with Jewish people.
