Letter: Leaders sowing resentment, fear and division

The great majority of people who live in our country, America, are good people who care about their family members and neighbors. With the current national atmosphere, we need to keep reminding ourselves of this. We have members of our families and communities who have different backgrounds. In spite of our differences we care very much and help each other in times of need. The current American leadership at this moment wants us to accept their way of thinking: Resentment, fear and division should guide how we live. We must say “no” — a second American Civil War is not what we want!
