Letter: Llamas as nice as alpacas

I beg to differ with the gal from Sunset Alpacas who says one of the differences between llamas and alpacas is “They also do not spit like llamas do, and are typically not as ornery.” She must have been around some maladjusted llamas to say that.

I’ve had hundreds of llamas over 25 plus years and they are every bit as nice as alpacas. They seldom spit and hardly ever at people. Just ask the folks from Mountain Valley who came to play with them or the dozens of special needs children who come to Llama Linda Ranch each summer.

Yes, alpacas are small and cute, but llamas are just as nice.
