Letter: Lucky Richardson is running

Carbondale voters are electing a mayor, and we are fortunate to have Dan Richardson on the ballot. Dan has the support of our two previous mayors and every current trustee who is not a mayoral candidate.

Dan has served on the Glenwood Springs City Council and has been elected by his fellow board members to lead the boards of RFTA, the Waldorf School and the Carbondale Board of Trustees.

Why do so many of us support Dan and want him to be our next mayor? Because he is level-headed, well-informed and open-minded. Dan facilitates an efficient, effective and inclusive public process that yields results. We need a mayor who can represent the whole town of Carbondale, who has earned the support of his fellow trustees and who follows through on ideas to get things done. Dan Richardson will be that mayor, and I hope you’ll join me in voting for him.
