Letter: Obama’s legacy

The end of Obama’s term in office is rapidly approaching and the media is beginning to speculate what (if anything) will best symbolize his accomplishments — his “mark” in history. If I may, let me make a few suggestions.

• Affordable Health Care Act (better known as “Obamacare”): A program forced on American citizens by the government and the Supreme Court based on lies from the president and under the supervision of IRS. This is a failing disaster.

• A foreign policy that has created unrest with our Allies and turmoil throughout the world: Obama and now the USA are not respected nor feared by the world.

• Obama has added estimated $19 trillion to our national debt. It was reported to be more than all previous presidents combined. Let’s just say the truth. This country is financially bankrupt largely due to Obama’s economic policies.

• The USA economy has basically been stagnant throughout his eight years in office.

• Obama’s immigration policy of not enforcing the laws pertaining to people entering our country has left our borders wide open. Not very smart considering the terroristic state that prevails in the world.

OK, that’s enough suggestions. However, let me make one final one that Obama truly excelled in and should be his presidential legacy. He played a lot of golf and he along with his family took a lot of amazing vacations around the world at taxpayer expense.
