Letter: Pick up after your dog
To anyone using the grassy area at 11th and School Street (property of Glenwood Springs Elementary School) please consider another place to let your dogs poop. This area is the designated “Safety Zone” for my preschool during a fire drill (or the real deal). There are four classes that go to that area ages 12 months to 5 years old.
The last fire drill we had, we couldn’t use the area due to all the dog poop. I counted 13 piles and later went back (after school) and cleaned them up. Well, that area is filling up again. This is school property, so please find another area for your dog to poop or, at the very least, pick up after your animal.
