Letter: Re-elect Sherry Caloia

Through the young adult diversion program, District Attorney Sherry Caloia has helped many first-time low level offenders get out of the court system. Caloia realizes the importance of rehabilitation when it is appropriate, and tailors the diversion contract to the specific situation (restitution, public service, etc). By striving to provide these young adult offenders with the help they need, Caloia’s program has shown itself to be successful.

Sherry Caloia has worked tirelessly during her first term as DA, and will continue to work for the Ninth Judicial District if she’s re-elected. She has earned my support and vote by giving young adults a second chance.
