Letter: Saddened by GOP egging
We were shocked to learn that some of our citizens, apparently opposed to our Republican candidates, would resort to throwing eggs at the Garfield County Republican headquarters entry.
We have worked for the last seven years to build bridges across party and ideological lines to advocate together for the sometimes unique interests of western Colorado. Outnumbered in Denver, we absolutely must come together to advocate for our common concerns.
More importantly, we’re concerned that we are setting a bad example for our youth. We call upon the Garfield County Democratic Party and all of its candidates to repudiate this behavior and work with us for the good of our community.
