Letter: Talk to Sunni Islam
JFK said on alternet.org, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, make violent revolution inevitable.”
The most potent act that Cheney and Rumsfeld, the architects of perpetual war, set in motion, was to make a policy that we will not talk to terrorists.
That we will not negotiate with the aggrieved that countries and corporations have run roughshod over, as is done in America when drilling interests are at stake.
Create a truth and reconciliation forum for the Sunni and other aggrieved, and perpetual war will stop.
