Letter: Thanks to bridge team

A recent letter took aim at CDOT and its PR branch regarding the new pedestrian bridge.
I see things from a different perspective. What I see in my backyard: a well-coordinated effort to deliver an amazing structure very soon. CDOT and the joint venture have been working in cold, in dangerous conditions, at night, on weekends for months. They deserve thanks and praise for a job well done.

Even with the temporary pedestrian bridge in place, the walk is enjoyable if you let it. One can see up close the work and workers in action. The journey is but a few moments in time.

Our company has faced significant impacts. But all along, the message has been and will be “stay positive.” Glenwood Springs is fortunate to receive one new asset in days and another in months.
