Free Press Letter: The Good News Club is a good thing for Mesa County’s children
Thank you for asking for responses to your recent column by Robyn Parker on local schools allowing religious evangelism (printed in the Sept. 26 edition).
I am personally acquainted with The Good News Club as I have grandchildren who have attended. I have viewed the activities and am very encouraged there is such a wholesome and fun time provided for young school children whose parents give permission for them to attend.
My grandchildren enjoyed many good times, and we give our support to this program that benefits the children and parents.
