Hidden agenda at “Dead Man’s Curve”

I read with surprise the $3 million-plus proposal to fix “Dead Man’s Curve” on Four Mile.

I totally smell a rat.

Could it be that “we” need to “fix” this curve so that the big rigs targeting Thompson Divide have a nicer, cleaner path to destruction? That’s what I got when I read this article.

Take a vote of all Four Mile residents and ask them if they want to “fix” this curve or put this money towards the south-end bridge near Buffalo Valley. I already know the results, as do most residences in Four Mile.

Use a couple thousand dollars to put up flashing warning lights that are solar powered on “Dead Man’s Curve,” and then focus on the bigger picture and quit wasting taxpayer money.
