LETTER: A revulsion to undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

After reading Johnny Gonzalez’ letter about how hateful Glenwood is to Latinos, all I can say is wrong, Johnny, wrong.

There is no racial hatred in Glenwood Springs or any part of this valley. There is, however, a legitimate revulsion to illegal aliens of any color who spit on our country’s sovereignty and brazenly demand the precious rights of citizenship. A revulsion at illegals stealing American jobs and lowering the wage scale for all legal workers. Revulsion at the degrading of our schools. Revulsion at the bankrupting of our health care, welfare and prison systems.

So Johnny, you can take your pity party back to Mexico, you’ll get no sympathy from me.
