Letter: Affordable housing for all

I love the idea of more affordable housing in our valley, but why just for the teachers? Many small business owners face the same troubles without a big network like the RFSD to represent our needs. Many of our employees do not have the benefits the teachers receive, such as health insurance, paid sick and vacation leave and lots of time off during the year. If the taxpayers want to contribute to this great cause, why not have it help everyone paying for it, not just the teachers? Half and half, perhaps? Just food for thought.
