Letter: Appreciation for Dever designation

Ric Dever
Denver

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the Glenwood Springs City Council, Gretchen Ricehill, the Historic Preservation Commission and especially Bobbi Hodge for the many hours they spent that went into establishing and then approving the building at the northwest corner of the intersection of Eighth Street and Grand Avenue in downtown Glenwood Springs as a local landmark.

Due to the dedication of these people and their appreciation of local history, this building will now be forever known as the Kamm-Dever Building. I only wish that my grandfather, Tom Dever, and my father, Austin Dever, could be here to take pride in this designation as I surely do. Thanks again, so very much, to all of you who made this happen.
