Letter: Attend 4-H Achievement Night

Carla Farrand
Rifle

The Garfield County 4-H Council would like to invite current, past and future 4-H members as well as volunteers and businesses to attend our Garfield County 4-H Achievement Night.

Garfield County 4-H Achievement will start at 6 p.m. Saturday. This is a night where the Garfield County 4-H Council along with Colorado State University Extension in Garfield County recognize 4-H members, leaders and other volunteers for their hard work and accomplishments throughout the 2014 4-H year. This is also a celebration time of closing out the 2014 4-H year and beginning the 2015 4-H year.

The Garfield County 4-H Council will also be recognizing a “Friend of 4-H” and a “Business of 4-H.” These awards are selected by the youth. The “Friend of 4-H” is awarded to a volunteer within our community who has promoted, demonstrated and devoted their time to the 4-H program. The “Business of 4-H” is awarded to a business who has donated financially, but more importantly has also donated time to support the 4-H program.

The evening will begin with the awards presentation at 6. We will conclude the evening with desserts and dancing. The Garfield County 4-H Achievement Night will be held at the Garfield County Fairgrounds indoor arena. Doors will open at 5:30 pm.
