Letter: Big Brother alive and well in Silt
Well, well, isn’t it nice that Big Brother is alive and living in Silt, Colorado. The wise guys (Mayor Moore and Trustee Taylor) said they know better than the voters they claim to represent when it comes to recreational pot. Taylor so eloquently stated, “It’s a bad drug, and that’s why it’s illegal.” Ah yes, shades of the killer weed propaganda Big Brother tried scaring us with when we were young. What’s really worrisome is the two stooges’ attitude that they know better than the voters and must protect us from ourselves. Silt voters should be very concerned with a couple of self-serving clowns like Moore and Taylor in charge.
