Letter: Commissioners aren’t listening to the voters

I cannot believe that commissioners Martin and Samson are not listening to voters.

They refused to listen to what the public had to say in rebuttal to their decision on retail marijuana grow facilities. Unincorporated areas in the county is where grow facilities should be allowed to operate. One would think they should be considered agricultural. The voters of this county spoke when they voted yes on Amendment 64. Commissioners Martin and Samson are just trying to put marijuana underground again like it has been for years. Does the sales tax revenue mean nothing to these men? To this county? Martin and Samson need to start listening to the voters and put their personal views aside. Commissioner Tom Jankovsky said it. Even though he voted no on Amendment 64 he has to listen to his constituents and vote yes on county retail grow facilities.
