Letter: Commissioners really blew it on firework sales

Really? Our County Commissioners, in their wisdom, have decided to allow fireworks sales in our county.

Oh, so from June 29 until July 5 no one is going to set one of those fireworks off in an unsafe or possibly drunk (you know, at the Fourth of July celebration) manner?

What’s the weather/fire danger right now and for the foreseeable future? Were these factors taken into consideration? Good questions? Thanks for thinking.
