Letter: Confusing bridge rendering

The artist’s rendering of the new CDOT bridge into Glenwood, on the front page of the Dec. 21 issue, is puzzling to me. I’d like to know how and where the north Glenwood and West Glenwood traffic is supposed to get onto the eastbound bridge into downtown.

According to this drawing, it looks like they will have to cross westbound bridge traffic to get onto eastbound 82 into downtown, and everyone who lives here knows that is almost impossible. Traffic will be backed up in the morning all the way up to the top of Laurel Street and all the way to the tram.

Nice planning, CDOT. I’ll be at your meeting, you can count on it, asking these questions.
