Letter: Do we care, Mike?

Bruno Kirchenwitz
Rifle

After reading publisher Mike Bennett’s “tough to share experiences“ column, I can’t help but add my two cents worth. You can share anything your heart desires, Mike, You’re the publisher.

As for whether sharing your “life’s path” is worth the paper it’s printed on, that is a matter of opinion.

I am of the opinion that the vast majority of Post Independent readers don’t give a rat’s patootie about how you’ve got that “incurable disease” — alcohol in remission. Somehow I think you would have been more fun and far less boring while you still imbibed Mike.

However, wouldn’t an AA meeting be a more appropriate venue to commiserate on the hardships of negotiating life, sans buzz on?

You obviously have a talent for running a newspaper as a profitable business. Stick to what you know, Mike, using the Post Independent for your public diary only “helps” your ego, buddy.
