LETTER: Don’t forget Pearl Harbor

Why is there no remembrance article [on Dec. 7] on the significance of Dec. 7? Have we forgotten Pearl Harbor, the loss of service men and women, the destruction of airplanes, Hawaiian property and the sinking of major ships by the Japanese? I watched several newscasts on major TV outlets and not a one mentioned Pearl, so the PI is not alone. Please, never forget Pearl Harbor.

Editor’s note: The PI ran a half-page article about the Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremonies in the Dec. 8 paper.
