Letter: Getting stiffed in the valley

Gas prices are sliding downhill, so how come the gas prices in Grand Junction are like $2.20 a gallon and ours are still going up from $2.30 a gallon? Oh, now that can’t be true. None of the gas stations are sticking it to the customers?

Makes you wonder just how much we are being stiffed for living in the Roaring Fork Valley when even the lone gas station on the way past the Paonia cut-off is cheaper than on this side of the hill and the gas companies are still making the bucks.
