I would like to respond to the people who want to change the mascot names on sports teams.
In my opinion, we have forgotten why we chose the names we do. We choose names that stand for big, brave, strong, fearless.
The Indians named their people after such things. It was good to be named that way. I think we have started looking for the bad in so many ways that we don’t know how to find the good.
I say go Indians, Chiefs, Braves, Lions, Tigers, Bears and Rams.
