Letter: Google stalking is a real problem

This weekend I was stalked and harassed by a man I have never met. I was terrified — I had done everything right. My Facebook was set to private, and I didn’t post my phone number or address anywhere, but somehow he knew everything about me. How was this possible?

Beware, Coloradans! Colorado Voter Registration publishes all your information — name, address, phone number, DOB, Party Affiliation, and even when you voted. This information is openly available to anyone who Googles your name. Go online and request to make your information private before this happens to you.
