LETTER: How much is too much housing, traffic?

More houses. More houses and more traffic on Four Mile Road and Midland Avenue? The city just approved town houses on Airport Road and more cluster homes in the Four Mile Ranch area. How much is too much?

The Coal Seam Fire could have trapped and killed hundreds of people except for a northern breeze that afternoon. If only one person stalled or has a fender bender before the 27th Street Bridge there would be hundreds of cars stopped on Four Mile Road and Midland to the bridge.

More houses should be directly linked to the South Bridge. No more building until it is completed. Let’s let the builders help with the cost of the project. The other fix would be to four-lane Four Mile Road to Dry Park Road, then four-lane Dry Park Road to Carbondale.
