Letter: Keep the cleanup
While it’s true that Glenwood looks messy during April, the Spring Cleanup service that city of Glenwood provides goes a long way toward having a cleaner city the rest of the year. Many of us have no way to transport things to the landfill, so our debris would stay with us if the Spring Cleanup pick-ups were not available.
Please city, don’t discontinue our favorite problem-solving service. We would even be willing to pay a modest fee for pick-ups.
Thank you for all the times we’ve had the service available in the past.
