Letter: Obama supporters are dragging the rest of us down

Guess what? You’re going to lose your doctor, and you’re going to lose your health plan. Yep, that’s right. Here comes “Obamacare.” Life was a banquet, but now all who voted for Obama and his like kind expecting hope and change are struggling to make ends meet. And you dragged us all down with you.

When your country is dying you may need to celebrate the past, live in the present and mourn the future all at the same time. You’ve got to protect your own happiness, it’s what makes life worthwhile.

Let’s face it, the America of today is a dysfunctional society. Why? Because the hippies of the ’60s have won the election with their misguided left-wing ideology. In their mind everyone is entitled to anything the government has to offer. But wait a minute, who’s the government? You are, and you’re being bribed with your own money.

Our government is out of control, and government workers have become an economy-suffering burden. To support its appetite “robin hood” taxes are springing up all over the place. You’ve got to ask yourself, “Are we being governed by a bunch of morons?” or just plain crooks.

Presidents, in the scheme of things, come and go. We’ve had some real losers, including Obama. But the problem is will this country survive all the “stupids” who continually vote for these kinds of presidents?

Whatever happened to self-discipline and character and where is your pride? Why have Americans let themselves get so dumbed down?

How do we get out of this mess? As a starter try giving some “lip” to our elected officials, especially Sen. Udall (202-224-5941) and Sen. Bennet (202-224-5852). Tell them you’re dissatisfied with their job performance. Inundate them with phone calls and emails. They should all be condemned because of their contempt for our Constitution, which they took an oath to protect and defend (not disrespect or change) and for not representing their constituents. They work for us, not the other way around.

Sarah Palin was right regarding the Obamacare “Death Panels.” That’s why these pseudo-elitists voted themselves exempt from Obamacare. Gee, why is it good enough for us but not for them? Do you think they may know something about the health care bill (they didn’t read) that will negatively affect all who are forced to participate? How does that make you feel? Do nothing and you ain’t seen nothing yet.
