Letter: PI should change letter guidelines

According to the guidelines set forth by the Post Independent, if you want to submit a letter to the editor it must be no longer than 350 words, the deadline to submit a letter is noon, three days prior to publication, no photos.

I suggest that the Post Independent might want to change this since this is not the hard and fast rule. See the letter to the editor on Dec. 20, 2013.

I suggest they rephrase the rule to read as follows. If you want to submit a letter to the editor it must be no longer than 350 words, the deadline to submit a letter is noon, three days prior to publication, no photos. For those of you with an anti-drilling agenda, a liberal agenda or pro-Obama agenda, please disregard these guidelines. For conservative writers, we may or may not publish your letters.
