Letter: Rankin speaks with double tongue

If one read between the lines, a person would understand that Mr. Rankin is another legislator that speaks with a double tongue.

He talks about sage grouse protection while trying to reduce protection in the name of consistency. He talks about legislation to support local initiatives for gas and oil, which means overriding the expressed desire of his constituency. He sows fear with regard to the economy and environment and threatens cuts in vital services in a veiled tone.

He does say, “Pay attention to the election shaping up this November.” I would add, his ilk needs to go home from the legislature. I for one don’t want Rankin and Baumgardner selling out my interests to big corporations. Yes, do indeed pay attention when it comes time to vote.
