Letter: RIP, Lisa Newman
I was sad to hear of Lisa Newman’s passing. As far as I know she did not have any family here, and I have not heard of any services for her. I wanted to pay my respects to her in some way.
Lisa was different, there is no doubt; if the sign said whisper, Lisa would shout.
LA girl grew a mountain heart; God bestowed a gift of art.
Little rough around the edge, sometimes appearing on a ledge.
Sweet as pie deep inside; honest too; not one to hide.
Always herself; never fake, never the high road did she take.
Although I did not know her very well, I saw Lisa as a beautiful belle.
