Letter: Roundabout problems

Regarding the story in The Citizen Telegram on June 11: Question, who paid for this roundabout? I believe that the city of Rifle paid for it with their trust fund money. The state built it. I do not know if it was lack of money, but they felt shorted in not having a turn off lane.

What has happened is you made a two-lane road into one lane for a short distance. This is what I believe, and you could prove me wrong.

Also, you should not have printed the story in your Monday, June 15, Post Independent till the Rifle paper could have come out with that story in the Thursday paper. And we would pay 50 cents to read it.
