LETTER: Silt resident supports Rifle rec center
I am a Silt resident of more than 20 years, and I want to add my voice to those in support of a community center in Rifle.
I may not get to vote for it, but my taxes will support it on an almost daily basis in one way or another because I worship, bank and, most importantly, shop in Rifle. I’m thrilled I may finally have access to a year-round indoor pool and that they’ll charge their neighbors to the east the same amount as a Rifle local. It’s about time we had a quality pool and gym for all of us to use. I may not be a Rifle local but my tax dollars vote YES on D.
