Letter: Take action against climate change

Do you believe Congress needs to act on climate change? Are you looking for a way to make a real difference as a citizen? Then join us next Tuesday, Aug. 12, at ACES (Hallam Lake) from 6-9 p.m. for an introductory training with Mark Reynolds, executive director of Citizens Climate Lobby.

Mark will introduce us to CCL’s nonpartisan approach and its unique direct-lobbying strategy, explain its exciting “carbon fee and dividend” legislative proposal, and inspire us to take this solution directly to our members of Congress.

Beverages and snacks will be provided. See you there!
