LETTER: Thanks to Mother’s Day Mile volunteers

On May 10, the traditional Mother’s Day Mile was held in Glenwood Springs. The benefit was for the Advocate Safehouse Project — a very worthy organization.

It was because of the long hours and many duties carried out by hard-working volunteers that everything was accomplished in spite of the very inclement weather that we were all subject to.

I commend all you tireless volunteers for your dedication, your time, effort and cheerful attitude in carrying out our countless duties.
